Using well-trained auditors qualified in their respective sectors, Oxford Cert Universal is able to add value to clients' businesses via the identification of process and system improvement opportunities for efficiency and compliance. The audit approach is designed to assist the organizations in achieving their objectives by providing input into continuous improvements.
Certified Auditors are provided to evaluate a company's formal management system against client own, national or international standards (such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 22000), however this management system expertise is augmented with specific technical and process expertise to ensure the efficacy and provision of a value-add service to the client.
The scope of the audits is tailored to the clients' needs, focusing on specific products, processes, systems or even capabilities and capacities of the supplier. This may include, (but is not limited to), areas such as quality; environmental; health and safety management; and compliance to certain codes of manufacture.
Audits are undertaken in order to ensure that systems, practices, and procedures are defined, documented, controlled and periodically assessed for effectiveness and compliance. Such audits or assessments are also conducted as pre contract award verifying supplier capabilities, capacities and qualifications against specific contractual obligations
